part 3

Blessings Truth Church Family!

We hope you were able to join us, either in person or on-line this Sunday. It was clearly evident  that the Spirit of the Lord was moving mightily in the Sanctuary, as the Praise Team led the congregation into heartfelt devotion, and the atmosphere shifted into His Holy presence.

Pastor Jason opened the service with prayer: “Heavenly Father I thank You Lord for the ability to preach and teach. Thank You for your presence in this house. Thank You that the atmosphere has shifted and that we are surrounded by Your love this morning. Give us ears to hear and hearts to receive revelation that changes us from the inside out. I thank You Lord for Truth that transforms us and causes us to never be the same. In Jesus Name.”

Sermon message…

Something good is going to happen today!

There is a mandate on our life to be sent out!

There is nothing that can come out of hell that can change your life once you are rooted and grounded in Jesus Christ! (Colossians 2:7)

Jesus even conquered death and the grave and gave us eternal life!

Jesus said “On this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail!” (Matthew 16-18)

God wasn’t talking about a building or a religious social club when referring to “the church!” (1 Peter 2)

Jesus was talking about a people of God coming together for a common faith, purpose, and calling to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world!

We need to stop focusing on what is temporal and focus on what’s eternal!

God wants us to focus on people! The building is not going to heaven!

Jesus doesn’t want us to spend our lives serving a system or a structure. He wants us to spend our lives serving our purpose to reach people!

We need to facilitate the Gospel of Jesus Christ by accommodating, planning and structuring to build and reach people!

We are called to reach our community, the city that we live in and focus on changing lives!

Sometimes we get so consumed and overwhelmed with everything going on in our lives that we lose the impact we need to have on others who need to hear the Good News – The Gospel of Jesus Christ!

God did not save you so you can play it safe and just hang out until the rapture!

God has called us to preach the Gospel and spread the Good News of eternal life to a lost and dying world!

We are called to advance the Kingdom of God and we are the Family of God!

Because we are the Family of God, we need each other! We are connected and we need to fellowship with each other, pray with and for each other and others, and spread the Gospel to the lost! We need to do life together!

Sometimes we get self-centered on what God’s promises can do for us individually – my blessings, my salvation – but it’s not all about you!

We need a We mentality – not a Me mentality!

We cannot advance the Kingdom of God if we try to do it all alone! We need to do it together!

God builds us individually, but puts us together corporately!

We are a representative – An Ambassador of Good News & Good Will!

Jesus has a body – We are the body of Christ!

The same Jesus, power and spirit is operating in us!

Jesus dwells in us! It’s an inside job!

We are the embodiment of the Spirit of God!

Our mission here on earth as the body of Christ is to magnify the Kingdom of God!

We need to put our trust in God’s Kingdom, and not the world’s kingdom!

It’s not about elected officials and politicians, and making their kingdom great – It’s about making the Kingdom of God great!

Some people go to church their whole life and slip into a ritual, a place of complacency and never do anything to advance the Kingdom of God.

We need to help others realize the salvation of Christ and not just keep it to ourselves.

We have a God given assignment, a purpose, a responsibility to the world!

In order to be effective for the Kingdom of God, He has to process us for the calling.

Sometimes He uses trials and tribulations to prepare us for what He called us to do.

Had Moses never been adopted by Pharaoh and remained a slave all his life, he would have never become a person of authority, a leader, and would have never been able to accomplish his calling.

Moses was in the wilderness for 40 years being processed for the assignment God had called him to for his life – to deliver his people out of bondage and slavery! (Exodus 2:11-12)

What the devil meant for bad, God uses for Good! (Genesis 50:20)

We are sent to this generation to be a deliverer!

God always sends something supernatural to us in every-day life!

If you never stop and look, you may never know what your God given assignment is.

Don’t get caught up in your own wilderness!

Your life is not your own – It belongs to Jesus Christ and you have to let Him have rule and reign in it!

Put on the Lord Jesus Christ!
