“LIVING IN THE WILL OF GOD”

Blessings Truth Church Family!

We hope you were able to join us, either in person or on-line this Sunday. The Praise team lead the congregation into worship and total surrender, gratitude and praise, for His unfailing love and mercy, giving us the strength and faith to face the difficult situations we go through in life.

Pastor Jason opened the service in prayer, thanking the Lord for the ability to preach and teach, for His awesome presence in the house and that the yolk of the enemy is broken over the life of every believer. “Lord we give You praise for who You are and what you are doing in this place today, in Jesus name, Amen”.

Sermon message…

Satan doesn’t bind people up with power – he binds them up with weakness!

When the enemy knows a soul is bound in destructive behavior, he is not concerned with them anymore because he believes he already has them!

The only one that can break the destructive cycle out of our lives is Jesus Christ – and we are His hands and feet!

Stop standing in the doorstep of your promise, afraid to step out! Trust in the Lord and take a step of faith towards the destiny God has called you to! Just believe – Be like the woman with the issue of blood (Luke 8:43-48)

We need to lift lost souls out of despair, bondage, addiction, hopelessness and worthlessness, and let them know they have a purpose, a mission, a divine destiny!

Our mission is to change the communities of the nation that have been overlooked and forgotten not from the White house down, but from the communities up, and see revival and renewal and the power of God change a nation like never before!

It starts with first being a good steward in the community God has called you to!

Hell don’t fear anything accept the church!

Hell is afraid of a group of people that have learned how to walk in the power and authority that God has put on their lives!

If we are what the world needs, we have to fulfill our own God given destiny individually and also the purposes He has called us to corporately, as a church body of believers.

We all need to live in the will of God to affect change in the community God called us to and in the world!

We cannot afford to be trapped in religious theology of what the church should be!

We need to be a “Go out and tell”… and “Come in and see” church!

The Kingdom of God is tradition – the truth is still the truth and does not change!

It’s always about God’s eternal plan that began in the Garden! God has a plan – and you are in it!

We are both a Traditional and Contemporary church!

We can celebrate what happened 50 years ago and look forward to what is going to happen 20 years from now because He is still God!

There is no perfect, church, pastor or group of people, but we need to be part of a group of people who want to worship God, fulfill His purposes, fellowship and do life together! (Acts 2:42)

We are designed by God for relationships – He designed us with a natural desire to be connected with other people.

God did not call us to play it safe! To be an island! He has called us all to be a part of the living body of Jesus Christ!

Offenses will come! Deal with it and forgive!

Connecting with others is the avenue to your destiny in life!

In prison, solitary confinement is one of the worst forms of punishment (besides the death penalty) because they understand that connecting to people is what gives people a better sense of well-being, so they isolate the prisoner from others as punishment.

You cannot be a disciple if you cannot love people! (John 13:35)

We need to be interdependent – to come together and care for one another.

We have to believe and belong and stay connected!

Just going to church does not make you a Christian!

We are a body of believers that come together to pursue the purposes of God!

What is on the inside of us, manifests on the outside!

Most of our plans do not work out because they are not God’s plan for us!

We need to pursue the Father’s will and not our will!

If we look and act the same as the world, how can we change the world for the purposes of God?

The fact that we are a “This is Us” church means that something has changed on the inside of us in our lives, that causes us to be different people – different than the world! (Romans 12:2)

The hope of the world, the nation, this city, is people like you and I!

We are the mechanism and authority for God’s power in the earth!

When God’s spirit-filled people show up, hell gets full of fear!

We are Kingdom Embassadors, and the answer that God is using to fix this broken world because Jesus lives in our hearts!

“Scripture References”

Believe and Trust in the Lord … Luke 8:43-48
43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.

We need to fellowship with one another … Acts 2:42
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

We need to love one another … John 13:35
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

We are different than the world … Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
